The Fassisi Giardia is an immunochromatographic rapid test that detects surface antigens of Giardia cysts and trophozoites.

The quick test works with a coupling technique based on blue latex particles. The latex particles ensure a very intensive colour result of the test line if the result is positive (high sensitivity), so that low concentrations of Giardia cysts are reliably detected.
