CLiNiC Renal Lam
For the nutritional management of cats with renal and hepatic impairment. A decrease in kidney function is most common in older cats.
These cats are insufficiently able to excrete waste products, especially the protein breakdown product urea, via the kidneys. If this reduced kidney function continues, it is referred to as chronic renal insufficiency.
In the case of chronic liver insufficiency, it is mainly proteins and copper that the liver has difficulty processing.
Composition: Lamb 30% (lamb heart, lamb meat), chicken (chicken heart, chicken meat, chicken liver), rice flour, minerals, yeast, fermented rice.
Analytical constituents: Moisture 78%, Crude protein 7.4%, Crude fat 6.2%, Crude fiber 0.4%, Crude ash 1.5%, Ca 0.24%, P 0.15%, Na 0, 13%, K 0.24%.
